Become an electric engineer, slip in slime, discover the secrets behind pinhole camera, get dirty in our dinosaur dig and explore mock scenes in a crime. With over 20 amazing exhibits and workshops, the Kids Science Fest! will keep your mind engaged and hands busy! In addition, with our theme for science.07 - "Science Is Life", our "H2O Show" will star "Water" - the essence of life! With such an amazing line-up of fun-filled science activities, it is an extraordinary experience for the family. So, join us for the ultimate science adventure!

H2O Science Show by Scitech, Perth @ the H2O Theatre

The H2O Show involves highly entertaining drama and demonstrations that discusses 3 main concepts: (1) Water has some amazing properties (2) Water is essential for life (3) There are different ways to save water. The H2O Show contains various demonstrations that showcase the amazing properties of water such as its 3 states (solid, liquid and gas), heat capacity, cohesion, capillary action and its ability to be a universal solvent. The H2O Show also contains information about water on our planet, the percentage of Earth covered by water and the fact that less than 1% of the Earth's water is drinkable. The presenters explore various methods of saving or re-using water such as water saving crystals for gardens, recycling used or dirty water and de-salination. Performed by the energetic duo, Amy and Alice from Scitech, Perth, join us for an exciting and edutaining show!

Challenge yourself to a bevy of sizzling science games and quizzes! You will be tested on your scientific knowledge of topics such as space, chemistry, genes, illusions, puzzles and more! Many prizes await you!
